Move Along. Move Along.

Today's run was, without a doubt, my slowest ever!  My feet felt like concrete blocks that just would not pick up and go.  I almost turned around and went back home.  But I didn't.  I kept going.  I was still burning calories, building endurance, strengthening my legs, as well as my resolve to keep moving forward.  Running is mental every bit as it is physical. Had I turned around it would have bugged me all day that I didn't finish but now I can relax and feel accomplished and its just the first thing on my day's "To do list" that gets checked off, and I just love checkin' off things on my list!!!!  Not only do I feel stronger physically but mentally too.  There just isnt ever a reason to stop moving forward and complete the run I've set out to do.
